Ukrainian drone strikes have targeted multiple facilities in Russia, including the Ryazan oil refinery and the Transneft-Druzhba oil pipeline control center in the Tambov region. Reports indicate that the Ryazan refinery has been repeatedly attacked over the past year. In a separate incident, a drone strike in the Michurinsky district of Tambov Oblast occurred around 0:40 a.m. local time, resulting in a fire that was extinguished quickly, according to local authorities. In response, Russia's defense ministry reported that its air defense units intercepted or destroyed 51 Ukrainian drones across several regions, including areas near the border, during the same timeframe. This marks a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict as both sides continue to engage in aerial attacks.
