Aug 14, 2024, 06:55 AM
Ukrainian drones launched a significant attack on three Russian military airbases overnight. The targeted airbases include Baltimor and Borisoglebsk in the Voronezh region, and Savasleyka in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Reports indicate that the drones managed to bypass air defenses, resulting in multiple explosions and fires at these locations. The airbases house various Russian military aircraft, including Su-34, Su-27, and MiG-31 jets, which are used for launching Kinzhal missiles on Ukraine. The attack involved at least 117 UAVs, according to Russian sources, with damage confirmed at the sites. Notably, at least 10 explosions were reported at Savasleyka airbase.
