Dec 14, 2024, 02:22 AM
Ukrainian drones launched an attack on an oil depot in the Oryol region of Russia, 170km from the frontline, causing a significant fire. The facility, known as the 'Stalnoy Kon' linear production dispatch station, is one of the largest oil terminals in the area and supplies oil products to the Russian military. The attack resulted in damage to adjacent buildings and windows in homes being shattered by drone fragments. The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed the strike, noting that the operation was conducted by units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Special Operations Forces in coordination with other defense components. Local authorities reported that at least 11 drones were downed during the attack, although the exact number of drones involved remains unclear.
