Sep 21, 2024, 05:09 AM
Satellite images and reports confirm that Ukrainian drone strikes have caused significant damage to multiple Russian ammunition depots. The 107th GRAU arsenal in Toropets, Tver region, was severely hit, resulting in extensive fires and explosions over an area of approximately 9-10 square kilometers (about 3.5 square miles). Another depot, the 23rd GRAU Arsenal, located 16 kilometers south of the first, was also destroyed. Additionally, a major ammunition depot in Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar Krai, which reportedly contained North Korean munitions, was targeted and is still burning. These strikes have led to the destruction of tens of thousands of tons of armament, including ballistic missiles, and significant logistical disruptions for Russia. The satellite imagery, including 50cm resolution from 12:27 UTC, shows the aftermath of the attacks. The coordinates of the affected area in Tver are 56.504808, 31.72019, located 475km from Ukraine.
