Ukrainian air defense successfully intercepted multiple Russian Shahed-131/136 and Geran-2 drones on the night and morning of July 31, 2024. Six Shahed drones were downed over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, with footage showing the drones being hit and spiraling to the ground. Despite the successful interceptions, falling debris from the drones caused damage, including a house fire in Kyiv Oblast and damage to 13 buildings. The Ukrainian Air Force Commander released videos depicting the downing of these Russian-iranian drones.
