Ukraine's Yaroslava Mahuchikh set a new world record in the women's high jump at the Paris Diamond League, clearing 2.10 meters (6'10.5"). This achievement surpasses the previous record of 2.09 meters set by Bulgaria's Stefka Kostadinova 37 years ago in 1987. Mahuchikh, a 22-year-old World champion, accomplished this feat in her first attempt.
