VisitUkraine and Russia to Swap 180 Prisoners, Including Female POWs, on Wednesday in UAE-Facilitated Deal

Ukraine plans to organize a large exchange of female prisoners of war, according to Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets. Over 400 Ukrainian women are in captivity, with severely wounded women being the priority for return. Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets announced that the UAE is helping with the exchange. Russia and Ukraine are set to swap 180 prisoners in a deal facilitated by the United Arab Emirates. This will be the sixth exchange this year managed by the Gulf state. The exchange is expected to take place today, Wednesday, Bloomberg reported.
