Dec 7, 2024, 08:49 AM
Ukraine has received the second batch of F-16 fighter jets from Denmark, consisting of six aircraft, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky. The aircraft from the first batch are already intercepting Russian missiles and protecting Ukrainian infrastructure. With the arrival of the second batch, Ukraine's air defenses have been further bolstered, bringing the total number of Danish-supplied F-16s to around 15. Zelensky praised Denmark's leadership in defending lives and noted that if all international partners demonstrated the same level of commitment, "Russian terror could already have been made impossible."
