Ukraine launched a massive drone attack on multiple Russian regions, including Moscow, overnight on September 10. Russian air defenses reportedly intercepted and destroyed 144 Ukrainian drones, with 72 downed over Bryansk Oblast, 20 over Moscow Oblast, and 14 over Kursk Oblast. The attacks caused significant disruptions, including the temporary suspension of flights at Moscow's Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky airports. A drone strike on a residential building in the Ramenskoye district of Moscow resulted in the death of a child and injuries to other civilians. Additionally, fires broke out in multiple locations, including a high-rise building in Ramenskoye and the Zhukovsky airport. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed the incidents and the involvement of emergency services. The drone attacks are among the largest since the conflict began, reflecting escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia. Earlier, Ukrainian air defenses downed 15 Russian-launched drones and a guided air missile, and intercepted Shahed drones and Kh-59/69 missiles.
