Ukraine Launches 158 Drones on Russia; Kyiv Hit by Missile Barrage

Ukraine launched a significant drone attack on Russia, targeting Moscow and other regions with 158 drones. This marks one of the largest drone assaults by Ukraine on Russian territory. The attack affected 15 regions including Moscow, with reports of damage to energy facilities in the Tver and Moscow regions. In response, Russia launched a barrage of drones, cruise, and ballistic missiles at Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, and other cities. Ukrainian air defense systems intercepted a substantial number of these attacks, shooting down 9 out of 16 ballistic missiles, 13 out of 14 cruise missiles, and 20 out of 23 drones. The attacks on Kyiv resulted in injuries to at least two people and caused fires and damage to infrastructure.
