VisitUkraine Invites UN, Red Cross to Join Humanitarian Efforts in Kyiv-Held Parts of Kursk Region

Ukraine has invited the United Nations (UN) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to verify the situation and join humanitarian efforts in areas of Russia's Kursk region that are currently under Ukrainian control. This request follows a letter from the Russian State Duma to the Red Cross asking for assistance in evacuating Russians from these areas. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasized the need for international organizations to be involved in humanitarian efforts in the Kyiv-held parts of Kursk Oblast.
