VisitUkraine Denies Bild Report of Ceasefire in Victory Plan to Biden
Sep 15, 2024, 10:29 AM
Ukraine has categorically denied reports suggesting that its victory plan includes a localized ceasefire. The claims, initially reported by Germany's Bild newspaper, were refuted by multiple Ukrainian officials, including Dmytro Lytvyn, the communications adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Lytvyn emphasized that Ukraine is against any freezing of the conflict and that no one from Bild has communicated with the team developing the Victory Plan. Additionally, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the plan to be presented to Biden, Harris, and Trump in the United States aims to strengthen Ukraine's position and does not involve any concessions that would weaken its stance in the war.
