Ukraine Captures Nearly 600 Russian Soldiers in Kursk Incursion

Ukrainian forces have reportedly captured a significant number of Russian soldiers during their recent incursion into Russia's Kursk region. Estimates of the number of captured soldiers vary, with reports suggesting figures ranging from over 200 to nearly 600, including 594 Russian servicemen. General Syrsky stated that one of the objectives of the Kursk operation was to divert Russian forces from other fronts, such as Pokrovsk and Kurakhove. The captured soldiers are believed to include many young conscripts, which could present a political challenge for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
