VisitUkraine Bans Telegram for Officials, Military, and Special Services Over Security Concerns

Ukraine has banned the use of the Telegram messenger app for government officials, military personnel, special services, and critical infrastructure workers. The decision, announced by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on its Facebook page, aims to address national security concerns linked to the app, which was founded by Russian-born Pavel Durov. The ban applies to all official devices and was enacted by the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity on September 19.
