Ukraine launched a major drone and missile attack on multiple Russian regions overnight on January 13-14, targeting industrial and military facilities deep inside Russian territory. The attacks reportedly involved over 200 drones and 15 ATACMS missiles, striking key targets including the Orgsintez chemical plant in Kazan, oil refineries in Saratov and Engels, and facilities in the Tula, Bryansk, Rostov, Voronezh, and Oryol regions. Fires and explosions were reported at several sites, and airports in Kazan, Kaluga, Saratov, Tambov, Penza, and Ulyanovsk were temporarily closed due to the attacks. Russian officials claimed to have intercepted some of the missiles and drones.
