UK to Send 650 Martlet Missiles Worth £162 Million to Ukraine

The United Kingdom has announced a significant military aid package for Ukraine, consisting of 650 Lightweight Multirole Missiles (LMM) worth £162 million ($213 million). These missiles, also known as Martlet missiles, aim to bolster Ukraine's air defense capabilities against Russian drone and missile attacks. The first shipment of these missiles is expected to be delivered by the end of 2024. This announcement comes as part of the UK's ongoing support for Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict with Russia and was made during a meeting of the Ramstein Contact Group.
