The United Kingdom has pledged significant military support to Ukraine for 2025, as announced by Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a press conference in Kyiv with President Volodymyr Zelensky. The UK will deliver 150 artillery pieces, marking the first such production in the UK in 20 years, alongside a new mobile air defense system, which was financed jointly with Denmark. This aid package is part of a broader commitment to provide Ukraine with at least $3.6 billion in military aid annually, with an additional $3 billion from Russian assets, totaling at least $6.6 billion for the year. The artillery pieces are expected to arrive in Ukraine within weeks.
