UK Orders £162 Million Martlet Missiles, Delivering 650 Units to Ukraine by End of 2025, Totaling $197 Million

The UK Ministry of Defence has placed an order worth £162 million with Thales UK to increase the production of Martlet Lightweight Multirole Missiles. This order will deliver 650 units to Ukraine, bolstering its defense capabilities. The Martlet missile features laser and infrared guidance for precision strikes. The delivery of these missiles is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, with the remainder intended to enhance existing UK stocks. The total investment translates to approximately $197 million.
