UK Beautician Kim Hall, 28, Faces 60 Years in US Prison for Smuggling 43kg of Cocaine

Kim Hall, a 28-year-old British beautician from Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, has been arrested at Chicago airport on charges of attempting to smuggle £3.5 million ($5.4 million) worth of cocaine from Mexico into the United Kingdom. Hall was allegedly found in possession of 43 kilograms (approximately 100 pounds) of cocaine concealed in two suitcases while waiting for a flight back to England. She had been on holiday in Cancun, Mexico, before flying to the United States. Hall, who appears unrecognizable in her mugshot, claims she was forced to carry the drugs by two men. She faces charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and could face up to 60 years in US prison if convicted.
