VisitUCO Finds García Ortiz Implicated in Leak of Ayuso's Partner's Tax Complaint in Madrid
Nov 25, 2024, 10:31 AM
The Guardia Civil's Central Operative Unit (UCO) has attributed a 'preeminent participation' to the State Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, in the alleged leak of sensitive information regarding the partner of Madrid's regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso. The UCO's findings suggest that García Ortiz played a significant role in the unauthorized disclosure of a complaint against Ayuso's partner for tax-related offenses. This development comes amid denials from Juan Lobato, the leader of the Socialist Party (PSOE) in Madrid, who refuted claims that Moncloa had leaked the confession of Ayuso's partner to him for political leverage. The Guardia Civil's investigation also confirms that the complaint was leaked to the press before it reached Ayuso's partner's lawyer.
