The U.S. Department of Justice and the Department of State have announced a reward of up to $20 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of Shahram Poursafi. Poursafi, a uniformed officer of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), is accused of attempting to arrange the transnational murder-for-hire of former U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton. The Rewards for Justice program is actively seeking information on Poursafi, who is also known by aliases such as Mehdi Rezayi and Shahin Pourbakhsh.
