VisitTyreek Hill, Calais Campbell Detained by Police Before Dolphins' 20-17 Win

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was briefly detained by police outside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami for a traffic violation before the team's season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hill was handcuffed and pinned to the ground by officers, with videos of the incident circulating on social media. Defensive lineman Calais Campbell and tight end Jonnu Smith were also detained while attempting to de-escalate the situation. Both players were released and participated in the game, with Hill scoring an 80-yard touchdown and celebrating by mimicking being handcuffed. The Dolphins won the game 20-17. The Miami-Dade Police Department has placed one of the officers involved on administrative duties pending an investigation.
