A high-level Turkish delegation, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and the head of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), Ibrahim Kalin, has arrived in Damascus, the capital of Syria, according to Al Jazeera. This visit marks a significant diplomatic engagement between Turkey and Syria, countries with a history of strained relations. The delegation's arrival comes amidst ongoing regional tensions and efforts to normalize relations between the two nations. Although there has been no official confirmation from Turkish authorities, sources indicate that the delegation might meet with key Syrian figures such as Ahmad al-Shar’a (Jawlani) and Muhammad al-Bashir.
