VisitTurkey Sends Night Vision Helicopter and Rescue Team to Iran for President Raisi Search

Iran has requested a night vision-equipped search and rescue helicopter from Turkey to assist in operations. In response, Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has deployed 32 mountaineer search and rescue personnel and six vehicles from its Van and Erzurum provincial directorates. The Turkish team has been dispatched to northwestern Iran to aid in the search for President Raisi's helicopter. The request and deployment were confirmed on Sunday. Additionally, 15 research experts have been put on alert to move to Iran if needed.
