Tulane University’s football team delivered a commanding performance against the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a decisive 71-20 victory in Birmingham. This marks Tulane's highest scoring game since 1998 and their largest margin of victory over an FBS team since that year. The Green Wave's offense, defense, and special teams all contributed to the score, continuing their trend of high-scoring games this season. Tulane led 37-6 at halftime. UAB, under coach Trent Dilfer, suffered its largest margin of defeat since 2008, when they allowed 70 points against Southern Miss. This is also the most points UAB has allowed as an FBS program. Tulane's win extends their current winning streak to three games, while UAB's record under Dilfer drops to 5-12.
