Sep 13, 2024, 02:20 AM
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion during the game against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday after a collision with Bills safety Damar Hamlin. Tagovailoa was attempting to gain a first down when he lowered his head and collided with Hamlin, resulting in a head injury. This marks Tagovailoa's third career game with three interceptions, two of which have been against the Bills. One of the interceptions was returned for a 31-yard touchdown by Ja'Marcus Ingram. Tagovailoa was able to walk off the field under his own power but has been ruled out for the remainder of the game. The Dolphins were trailing 31-10 at the time of his exit. Tagovailoa now has 10 interceptions in eight career games against the Bills. Skylar Thompson replaced Tagovailoa as the quarterback for the Dolphins.
