Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) reported a significant increase in its April sales, which jumped by approximately 60% year-over-year to NT$236 billion (approximately $7.3 billion USD). This surge in revenue marks the second highest monthly level ever for TSMC, with a 20.9% increase over March's figures. The company's revenue from January to April also rose by 26.2% to NT$828.67 billion. Year-to-date revenue reached $25.55 billion, reflecting a 26% increase year-over-year. The substantial growth in sales is primarily driven by robust demand for artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, alongside a recovery in consumer electronics.
