Trump Warns Universities: End Antisemitism or Lose Accreditation and Federal Funding

President-elect Donald Trump has declared that United States universities must end campus antisemitism or risk losing their accreditation and federal support. Speaking at a rally against antisemitism in Washington, D.C., Trump warned that during his first week back in the Oval Office, his administration will notify every college president that failure to eliminate antisemitic propaganda will result in the loss of accreditation and federal taxpayer funding. He emphasized, 'We will not subsidize the creation of terrorist sympathizers, and we’re not going to do it—certainly on American soil.' Trump also stated that educational institutions permitting violence, harassment, or threats against Jewish students will be held accountable for violations of civil rights law.
