President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order directing federal agencies to identify and deport foreign students who have participated in pro-Hamas or anti-Israel protests. The order aims to combat antisemitism on college campuses by instructing agencies, including the Department of Justice, to investigate and punish anti-Jewish activities. It also calls for the deportation of resident aliens, including students on visas, who have violated laws during pro-Palestinian demonstrations following the October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks in Israel. Trump stated, 'To all the resident aliens who joined in the pro-jihadist protests, we put you on notice: come 2025, we will find you, and we will deport you.' Additionally, the executive order requires federal agencies to provide recommendations within 60 days on combating antisemitism.
