In the closing weeks of the 2024 U.S. Presidential race, Donald Trump has taken a narrow lead over Kamala Harris, according to multiple polls. A Wall Street Journal national poll conducted from October 19-22, 2024, shows Trump leading Harris by 49% to 46% in a two-way race, a shift from a previous poll where Harris led by 1%. In a full field scenario, Trump leads with 47% to Harris's 45%. The poll surveyed 1,500 likely voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.5%. Additionally, a Nevada poll by FabrizioWard/Impact Research/AARP conducted from October 8-15, 2024, shows Trump leading Harris by 49% to 47% in a head-to-head matchup and 47% to 46% in a full field. Trump's job approval rating stands at 52% approve and 48% disapprove, while Harris's approval rating is at 42% approve and 54% disapprove. The WSJ poll indicates a +5 move to Trump since September, and Harris's favorability ratings have tanked, marking her worst-ever approval rating.
