Trump's Border Czar Homan Vows Mass Deportations, Threatens to Jail Sanctuary City Leaders

Tom Homan, appointed as President-elect Donald Trump's new border czar, has vowed to implement mass deportations and escalate enforcement along the southern border with Mexico. "Let me be clear: There is going to be a mass deportation," Homan stated, emphasizing a zero-tolerance stance toward illegal immigration. He warned sanctuary cities not to "cross that line," cautioning that officials could be charged with obstruction and harboring for shielding illegal immigrants, and expressed willingness to jail non-compliant city leaders. Homan underscored that harboring illegal immigrants is a felony. He praised President Trump as "one bad-ass president" who previously secured the border to an unprecedented level and declared, "We're going to finish Trump's work." Homan noted that planning is already underway ahead of the new administration, stating, "We're not waiting till January."
