VisitTrump's 47th Presidency and Vance's 50th Vice Presidency Portraits Unveiled, Echoing Trump's Mugshot
Jan 16, 2025, 02:03 PM
The official portraits of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance were unveiled on Thursday, just days before their inauguration on January 20. Trump's portrait, taken by his chief photographer Daniel Torok, features him in a blue suit with a serious expression, which has drawn comparisons to his 2023 mugshot from Fulton County Jail in Georgia. Vance's portrait shows him smiling with his arms folded, also wearing a blue suit. Both portraits were released by the Trump-Vance Transition Team, with a statement describing them as 'impactful.' Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, and Vance as the 50th Vice President. Trump's portrait also features an American flag pin on his lapel.
