VisitTrump Proposes 100-200% Tariffs on EU Goods, 20% on All Imports
Nov 3, 2024, 03:57 PM
Former US President Donald Trump has announced plans to impose significant tariffs on goods from European Union (EU) countries if he is re-elected. Trump described EU countries as being as bad as China, accusing them of not accepting American goods while freely selling their own to the US. He proposed tariffs ranging from 100% to 200% on products from these countries. Trump called tariffs a 'beautiful word'. Former US Ambassador to the UK Philip Reeker indicated that tariffs could be as high as 20% on all imported goods under a Trump administration.
