Trump Nominates Former Michigan Rep. Hoekstra as U.S. Ambassador to Canada

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated former Michigan Representative Pete Hoekstra to serve as the U.S. Ambassador to Canada. Hoekstra, who previously served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands during Trump's first term, is currently the Chairman of the Michigan GOP and was the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee.
