Nov 21, 2024, 11:46 PM
President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Pam Bondi, the former Attorney General of Florida and a Fox News regular, to serve as the next Attorney General of the United States, following the withdrawal of previous nominee Matt Gaetz earlier today. Bondi, a longtime Trump ally, met with Trump earlier today before her nomination. She served as Florida's first female Attorney General and was one of Trump's lawyers during his first impeachment trial. If confirmed, Bondi would become the fourth woman and the first Republican woman to hold the position of U.S. Attorney General.
