VisitTrump Declares Victory in Debate Against Harris, Refuses Rematch; 67 Million Viewers Tune In
Sep 12, 2024, 10:11 AM
Former President Donald Trump has declared victory in the recent presidential debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, stating he sees no need for a rematch. Trump has begun to shut down the possibility of a second debate, claiming Harris wants another debate because she lost. The debate, which took place on Tuesday night, drew more than 67 million viewers, outdrawing the previous Trump vs. Biden debate and attracting 50 percent more younger adults aged 18-54. Despite a new poll indicating that Kamala Harris won the debate, Trump gained a point in voter support. Both candidates are now focusing on battleground states, including Pennsylvania, following the debate. Harris also posted most of the debate as a new ad and dodged five big questions during the event.
