White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that the Trump administration, through the Department of Government Expenditure (DOGE) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), discovered that the previous Biden administration had allocated $50 million in taxpayer funds to purchase condoms in Gaza. The funding was halted during a pause in federal spending aimed at reviewing budget allocations. Additionally, $37 million intended for the World Health Organization was also stopped.
