Apr 29, 2024, 07:31 PM
Travis Kelce, the All-Pro tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has signed a two-year contract extension worth $34.25 million, making him the highest-paid tight end in NFL history with an average annual value (AAV) of $17.125 million. The deal, which includes $17 million fully guaranteed in 2024 and most of the subsequent year guaranteed, was negotiated by his long-time agent Mike Simon of Milk & Honey Sports. This extension replaces the final two years of his previous contract, effectively providing a significant raise and securing his position with the team through the 2027 season.
