Toronto Father and Son Arrested for ISIS-Related Terror Plot, Face 9 Charges

A father and son from Toronto have been arrested and face nine terrorism-related charges, including conspiracy to commit murder, for allegedly planning a serious violent attack in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) identified the individuals as 62-year-old Ahmad Fouad Mostafa Eldidi and his 26-year-old son, Mostafa Eldidi. According to court documents, the pair were allegedly working with ISIS, also known as DA'ESH, and had recently purchased an axe and machete. The RCMP is expected to provide further updates on the case. The arrests, which occurred on Sunday, highlight ongoing concerns about ISIS-related activities in Canada.
