TON Blockchain Sees Surge in Active Addresses, USDT Supply Surpasses $1 Billion with 760% Growth

Active $TON addresses surged past other major Layer 1 blockchains, with the daily average exceeding 3 million in the first week of September 2024. The total USDT circulating supply on the TON blockchain increased by 41% over the last week, surpassing $1 billion for the first time. In less than 6 months, TON attracted more than $1 billion of native USDT liquidity on the network since it integrated Tether in April. Trading volume on the TON blockchain skyrocketed from $2 million to $17.2 million in September, marking a 760% growth. USDT on the TON blockchain is the fastest-growing stablecoin based on 30-day supply growth, filtered to include only stablecoins with more than $100 million in outstanding supply.
