VisitTom Holland's Billy17 Signs Producing Deal with Sony, Eyes 'Spider-Man 4' Release
Dec 12, 2024, 08:07 PM
Tom Holland, alongside his brother Harry Holland and Will South, has launched a new production company named Billy17 and signed a producing deal with Sony Pictures. This partnership comes on the heels of Sony's announcement of 'Spider-Man 4,' set for release on July 24, 2026, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Billy17's initial projects include 'Burnt,' an original screenplay by Rodney Rothman, known for 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,' with Tom Holland potentially starring. Additionally, Billy17 is developing an adaptation of Graeme Simsion's novel 'The Rosie Project' for TriStar Pictures, in collaboration with Matt Tolmach and Michael Costigan from Jason Bateman’s Aggregate Films. They are also working on an adaptation of Teddy Wayne’s novel 'The Winner,' with Holland eyeing the lead role. This move marks a significant expansion of Holland's relationship with Sony, where he has starred in successful films like the 'Spider-Man' trilogy and 'Uncharted.'
