VisitTKO Group Reaches $375 Million Settlement in UFC Antitrust Lawsuit, $75M Increase Awaits Court Approval
Sep 26, 2024, 02:06 PM
TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of UFC, has reached a revised settlement agreement in the Le v. Zuffa antitrust lawsuit. The new settlement amount is $375 million, which is $75 million more than the original settlement that was rejected by Judge Richard Boulware in July. The settlement will be paid in installments and is subject to court approval. The agreement addresses concerns raised by the judge, but it remains to be seen whether he will approve it. The settlement will be tax deductible. Approximately 1,200 former fighters are expected to benefit from this agreement. The Johnson v. Zuffa lawsuit remains ongoing, with a motion to dismiss still pending. The agreement was reached on September 26, 2024.
