VisitThunder Sign Alex Reese to Multi-Year Non-Guaranteed Contract After Hartenstein Injury
Oct 19, 2024, 03:26 PM
The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed Alex Reese to a non-guaranteed contract following Isaiah Hartenstein's injury, agent Billy Davis told ESPN. Reese, who played four years at Alabama and briefly quit basketball in 2021 to work as a bartender, has since played abroad. Reese is expected to sign a multi-year deal, likely two years, allowing the Thunder to develop him further without dipping into the Room Exception. Known for his 7% block rate in 32 G League games last year, Reese primarily plays as a stretch 4/5 on offense.
