VisitThree Kfir Brigade Soldiers Killed by Bomb in Beit Hanoun, IDF Confirms

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on December 23 that three soldiers were killed during combat operations in the northern Gaza Strip. The soldiers, members of the Kfir Brigade's 92nd Battalion (Shimshon), were identified as Captain Ilay Gavriel Atedgi, 22, from Kiryat Motzkin; Staff Sergeant Netanel Pessach, 21, from Elazar; and Sergeant First Class (Res.) Hillel Diener, 21, from Talmon. They were killed in Beit Hanoun when an explosive device detonated during clashes with militants. The Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's military wing, claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that their fighters killed three Israeli soldiers in close combat in Beit Lahia. According to Israeli sources, a total of 38 soldiers have been killed in northern Gaza since the beginning of the recent military operation in Jabalia. The IDF has been conducting operations targeting Hamas militants and terror infrastructure in northern Gaza.
