VisitThree-Alarm Fire at Miami's Temple Court Apartments Leaves One Shot in Critical Condition, Multiple Injured

A massive fire broke out at the Temple Court apartments in Miami on Monday morning. The fire, which started on the third floor of the building at 431 NW 3rd Street near the Miami River, prompted a response from the City of Miami Fire Rescue. During the firefighting efforts, a person was found with a gunshot wound and is currently in critical condition. Two firefighters were also injured and are in stable condition. The building, which houses many elderly and infirm residents, was engulfed in flames, and multiple residents were rushed to hospitals. Over 40 firefighting units responded to the three-alarm blaze, and a family reunification center has been set up at José Martí Park. Authorities are also conducting a shooting investigation.
