Thieves Steal 1 Armored, 2 Cloth-Door Humvees and 18 Bayonets From Tustin Army Reserve Center

Thieves broke into the U.S. Army Reserve Center in Tustin, California, stealing three Humvees, including one armored Humvee model M1151A1 with admin number ADMIN: HHC-06 and two cloth-door Humvees model M1097 with admin numbers ADMIN: HQ-61 and ADMIN: HQ-81, along with a variety of military equipment. The break-in occurred between 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, with the suspects cutting a fence to access the military vehicle parking lot. The stolen items also included 8 machine gun vehicle mounts, 7 free-standing machine gun tripods, medical equipment, 40 pairs of binoculars, and 18 bayonets. The Army confirmed that no additional weapons or ammunition were taken beyond the bayonets.
