Teva Fined 462 Million Euros by EU for MS Drug Competition Violations

Teva Pharmaceuticals has been fined nearly €463 million (462 million euros) by the European Union’s antitrust watchdog for anti-competitive practices related to MS Drug competition. The fine was imposed for disparaging a rival and misusing the patent system to maintain its market dominance. The European Commission's decision is part of a broader effort to curb unfair competition practices within the pharmaceutical industry. Teva has announced its intention to appeal the decision.
