Tether Treasury Mints 1 Billion USDT on Ethereum, Authorized but Not Issued

Tether Treasury has minted 1 billion USDT (1,000,437,499 USD) on the Ethereum blockchain. This issuance aims to boost liquidity and ensure smoother transactions, according to Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino. The amount is authorized but not issued, held for upcoming issuance requests and chain swaps. Over the past two days, 1.67 billion USDT has flowed from Tether Treasury to various exchanges. Additionally, Tether has issued a total of 4 billion USDT in the past three days, with 3.44 billion USDT transferred to exchanges, including 1.75 billion USDT to Binance and 770.8 million USDT to Coinbase.
