VisitTesla Recalls Nearly 700,000 Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck Vehicles Over Tire Pressure Warning Failure
Dec 20, 2024, 03:12 PM
Tesla is recalling 694,304 vehicles in the United States due to an issue with the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light, which may not remain illuminated between drive cycles, potentially failing to warn drivers of low tire pressure and increasing the risk of a crash. The recall, announced on Thursday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), affects certain 2024 Cybertruck, 2017-2025 Model 3, and 2020-2025 Model Y vehicles. Tesla plans to address the issue with a free over-the-air software update.
