VisitTesla Recalls 27,185 Cybertrucks in Fifth Recall Due to Rear-View Camera Issue
Oct 3, 2024, 02:10 PM
Tesla is recalling more than 27,000 Cybertruck vehicles in the United States due to a delayed rear-view camera image that reduces driver visibility and increases the risk of a crash. The recall, which affects 27,185 vehicles, is the fifth for the Cybertruck since its launch late last year. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) noted that the issue could be resolved through a free over-the-air software update, which Tesla began deploying on September 18, 2024. Vehicle owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on November 25, 2024.
